We thank you for these words,
because your words are powerful,
and necessary for change. But
words are not enough. We need action.

The issue of 'steady' power supply in our beloved school has been raised over and over again by past and present students to our respective presidents but truthfully the school management is failing and Power Supply problems deteriorating. Imagine the limited availability of Power from PHCN still partially supplied to our rooms in the Boys Hostel, either the Power sockets would carry current and our bulbs off or vice versa. There are rooms up till now that have no Power at all when the generator is running or on PHCN supply, Room 12 & 13 are in total blackout and students are supposed to enjoy these services by rights.
It would gladden our hearts if lighten bulbs will be provided to hostels with damaged bulbs and the faulty cooling units repaired.

Provision of halogen lights on the walk way in between the boys hostel and main campus as small dangerous animals creep out of the farm close to the walk way into the main field.
Provision of full Power Supply to our classrooms for late evening reading.

Lastly Provision of Constant Power supply. We have seen the school's Mikano Generator powerful enough to lighten the whole campus with less fuel consumption, we gathered it runs on diesel. Why don't you fuel that generator instead of consuming man-power and fuel on little generators that break down almost everyday? Why don't the management use that Mikano generator and turn on our sockets so we can charge our devices and do our laundry instead of blaming students that use the little generators to do laundry? Think about that.
We need power supply to access the internet, dry clean our laundry and for the availability of Water.
Talking about the availability of Water, the damage overhead tank behind the boys hostel that was fixed about two days ago was replaced with a smaller tank regardless of facts that we still had shortage of water supply while the bigger tank was still in use. How do you expect students to compel students to leave the hostel by 8am for the main campus when you are failing in your duties in providing adequate water supply?
Boys have to trek for kilometers if am correct just to drink water or buy water rather because the cafeteria in the hostel was closed down. Now we have to walk come rain come sun great distances just to quench our taste.

In a private school that swallows very close to half a million naira annually, students still use the old traditional way of buckets and water.
We would be glad if our needs are meet just as you promise because words are not enough, we need action.

Yours sincerely, ALL OF US
